Duplicate Content – 4 Views On Why You Should Care

If you do not have the time or writing skills to write a lot of articles for your website, there are article sites that other submit to and allow you to post their articles on your site. That helps you by getting more fresh content on your site to offer your visitors. It also helps the authors by having more incoming links to their sites. Having hundreds or even thousands of incoming links from related sites boosts your visibility and search engine rankings.
Unless you are writing all of your own articles, having the same articles as others is inevitable. Search engines despise duplicate content and will penalize your ranking. If you have too many duplicated articles on your site, the search engines might even drop your site from their listings.
There are ways around that problem though, and this article gives you some ideas on how to keep the articles fresh while preventing them from being seen as duplicates, such as the one here.
