Which is Better For YOU - MySpace or FriendsWin?

There are three online activities that attract the most attention:

* Video
* Social Networking
* Blogging

The most popular sites for those are MySpace and YouTube. While YouTube allows you to post your recorded videos, with certain file types and restricted sizes, that is all they do. Yes, they get more traffic than Google.

But then, so does MySpace. You will see a LOT of that on MySpace. What it also includes is blogging, social networking and an option for video.

Social networking is part of Web 2.0 - storing your files online and interacting with others who share your interests. With MySpace, the only files you actually store online are photos. The video must be hosted someplace else, such as YouTube.

While that is all fine for some people, you have to know how to get the HTML code that puts the images and movies into your page, comments or in the bulletins that you post for all of your friends to see.

For those who want something easier to manage, yet with a familiar layout and control center, you now have a new contender in the social networking arena.

FriendsWin.com includes everything that MySpace does and has added even more flexibility. Now when you send a bulletin to your friends, or a message to one of them, you can include a video that you record right then, online and personalized.

Being that the service is so new, I have found that the video recording online may drop the audio. No problem though… I record with my webcam, save it to a file and make it my default profile photo. It takes the same amount of time to do it either way.

At the time of this writing, FriendsWin has just over 28,000 members, compared to over 21 million on MySpace. That is a huge difference in numbers!

However, consider this: During my first week with FriendsWin, I received more traffic to my website than I did all month from MySpace. The two sites are nearly identical and I did not yet have a video on my FriendsWin page.

People on FriendsWin seek me out more than they do on MySpace. The level of professionalism is higher too. From what I can see, there are three main reasons for that:

1) MySpace is free and while you can join FriendsWin for free, there is a small monthly subscription fee to unlock the video capabilities.

2) The level of professionalism is higher because people have more flexibility with creating and publishing their videos.

3) With FriendsWin being so new, everyone who opted for the reseller program is trying to build their network.

Yes, I said Reseller Program. See, not only do you get the benefits above, you also have the option to also get a residual monthly income from all those who join through your site and subscribe to the service.

So now you decide which is better for YOUR marketing:
1) A free, yet sometimes confusing world on MySpace
or
2) Pay a small subscription fee at FriendsWin.com, get something back from those you refer to this almost brand new service, plus have more flexibility and ease with publishing your videos.
